In this In person Lighting Workshop Held On November 1st-2nd 2025 in Chicago, IL. On Day 1 we will learn how to work with continuous lighting Using different Modifiers . We will go through the process beginning to end. Showcasing the tools that you will need to shape light. Day 2 we will start using strobes and implementing them and continuous lighting. I will also talk you through business tips and things that will get you hired and busy to keep jobs consistently.

Each person will receive a 2 hour 1 on 1 with me to shoot anything you would like. This will help you build your portfolio and fine tune your lighting skills on a more intimate basis. Available up to 2 months after the end of classes. (January 2nd.)

-Building from using 1 light all the way up to a 6 light setup.

-Lighting for Darker and Lighter Skin tones.

-Importance of using a Light Meter.

-Lighting for Film Photography.

-Learning how to work with a photographer as a light tech/gaffer.

-Modifiers (Showing you all the tools available to you to make your life easier while lighting on set.

-How to rent gear. (How to build relationships with rental houses and get what you need)

Lighting course will be from 9am-5pm November 1st and November 2nd.
